Mobile Ermored Strike Kommand

Recently my good friend, Adam Middleton, returned from Taiwan with an incredibly amazing gift for me.

It was a crazy booleg MASK, excuse me, MESK figure box set!

The figures are not the normal small MASK figure size, they are BIG!

The set contains five MESK superstars, who I can only assume are named Desty Heyes, Mett Trekker, Meles Meyhem (leeder of VENEM), Brece Sete, and Bred Terner.

The figures themselves look like their MASK counterparts, but the sculpts are entirely new.

Mesks off.

Mesks on.

Thanks Adam!

    I love KOs.

  2. Those MESK figures are really freaky without their masks, sir. But if they have their helmets on, they remind me of those chibi anime characters.

Any sign of Transfermers Enemeted or G.E. Joes? Hehe.

Man, those MESK guys are awesome, not to mention their mesks are huge! Why didn't anyone think of it before?

Holy crap! I know I am not suppose to like knock-offs but wow! They remind me of a set of teeny tiny B:TAS figures I found last night in the basement amongst the collection.

    There is a beauty there.

  5. There is truly much joy to be had from the bootleg industries of the Chinese and Korean regions. I shall never forget the "Squirrel Shaped Fish" store in Fuzimiao in Nanjing.

    How cool!

But in that picture with the 3 Matt Trackers, what is that more detailed taller figure?!?

    Is that a M.A.S.K. masterpiece I missed?

  10. HankFormer, that's the Specialist Trakker figure from the new G.I. Joe line. He's great, I highly recommend.

I think they look more like their animated counterparts too.

    Oh yeah, totally TaiWIN!

  11. Well, it's no Roborcar (http://www.sykografix.com/articles/article37/roborcar.jpg, or about 4/5 down the page at http://www.sykografix.com/articles/article37/index.html), but it's pretty amusing. :-)

Not TaiWIN, more of a Tai-Copyright-Case

  13. But where's the knockoff motorcycle helicopter guy? That vehicle is one of the best toys I ever owned.

  14. He's there. Brad Turner (the guy in yellow) had the motorcycle/helicopter.

MESK would be the South African version of MASK, I presume.

  17. Ha ha ha I can't get over how hilarious that one short guy is in the front. I could just see him punching the other guys in the jewels if he ever got in a tight spot. If he's to scale with the others I'm going to die laughing.

p.s. The blond behind him on the left disturbs me. Must be the lipstick look he's sporting.

    Hurrah for TransWarped!

Its a tragedy that B****O** is only voyager size. Leader would kick skidplate.

  20. Man, that's impressive. I wonder if MESK is seen in China... I really should finish watching those Box sets, the problem is that I don't have enough booze to cover it.

Seriously, thanks for the MESK jokes, they really made my morning :)

That is awesome. KOs rock (when they're not being passed off as the real thing anyway), my personal favourite was a KO "Spaderman" T-shirt I saw - and foolishly didn't pick up - in Brazil.

I'ts a good thing the M.E.S.K. figures have their mesks on because Optimus Prime may try to take their faces.
