The Silkie and Larry Show!

Oh, what might have been! Friends, let us take a look into our magic "What If" crystal ball (What if is ™ and © Marvel Comics). What if Teen Titans had gotten a sixth season? Well one episode discussed was none other than the return of Robin's extra-dimensional doppleganger, Larry! But this time Larry is teamed up with his super buddy, Silkie! Talk about a two-fisted tale with an extra helping of maggoty goodness. So, hold your hats as we take a peek into the future that never was. Just remember, this is an imaginary story...

Oh Larry, how do we miss ye! Although some talk over an extra sugar filled lunch at Simon's Cafe inevitably turned ugly, we quickly became friends again at the thought of doing an episode where Silkie and Larry team up. Larry was never, at any time, going to don a giant Great Gazoo-like space helmet, or grow antennae out of his butt.

Very similarly, Larry would also not, at any time, be seen flying around in Jay Garrick's hat. Or that other thing that's happening.

Well my dears, I do so hope you have enjoyed this trip down memory lane, even if it was all just an imaginary one. Remember it all never happened, and you're not even reading this now! And I'm not late for work!

I am so happy I enjoyed the trip I did not take down the memory lane of things that never happened, and having not read this blog post, I am going to not... ahh, this is taking to long.

I laughed myself senseless at the sight of that last picture. Larry looks like he is ready to take out evil wherever evil happens to tread! Look out Slade, there’s a new robin in town.

Larry could become Slade’s new apprentice... I donno, maybe Slade is desperate or somethin.

These images have been stuck in my head all day. Why oh why couldn't their exploits have been animated for all the world to see? There needs to be a Silkie and Larry spin-off show, and there needs to be toys!!

Derrick, you are amazing. Not just with your artwork, but your grasp of comic knowledge. Please, give us more imaginary stories...then again, aren't they all?

I want a sixth season too! I can actually tell why they don't have a sixth season. Terra is over and done with now, and ever since Slade helped Robin... well, he can never battle with Robin ever again. Brother Blood is boring. Trigon is gone(Hey look, I'm a poet). The only way to have a Season 6 is to have a Starfire plot. War of the Tamaranians!!!Not everyone liked the BB plot.It shows that Teen Titans is really losing steam. But Things Change seemed so cool!(I never watched)Has Teen Titans got a second wind? Gah... I want them to uncancel Season 6, who's with me?

Oh yeah... you could do Mumbo, couldn't you? Or Dr Light. Or rope in a new villain! WHY NOT?
