Foolish unbelievers, kneel before the might of the Riddler Shrine!

Since time immemorial, I have wandered this dreary Earth amassing every figural representation of the multi-verse's greatest comic book character, The Riddler. And then I put them all in one place.

It's a hungry all mighty altar, and it demands frequent offerings.

I've actually added a few new things since these pictures were taken. Well, that's all for now. Tune in next time, and I'll tell you about my collection of tinned meats!

Teen Titans Character Profile: Thelma

No trip to Warner Bros. Animation would be complete without a sassy sweet greeting from the front desk receptionist, Thelma. But here's a little inside info that many people may not know about our own loving Thelma...

When Pam the waitress (see Teen Titans episode: Betrayal), turned evil and went to work as the head lunch lady at the HIVE academy (see Teen Titans episode: Deception), the owner of Ben's Bacon Bar and Grill was in a tight spot. Pam is obviously working for Slade and the HIVE from day one, I mean look at her enormous pink BEE HIVE hairdo! It's a dead give away. So anyway, two years later, a customer who actually wants to order food (not just drink and shoot pool, badly) actually comes to the restaurant, and actually wants a waitress to take his order! Well, here's where the owner of Ben's calls in a favor with good ol' Thelma! Thelma shows up, serves Beast Boy his pie, and is back to the WB by the next morning! God bless Thelma! She's saved the day again.
Screen grabs blatantly stolen, I mean, lovingly borrowed from Titansgo.net.

And there's your Teen Titans insider info on this wonderful President's Day 2006. Thelma accepts all fan mail at C/O Warner Bros. Animation.

I'm a manatee, I swim in the ocean.

I think he's getting paler!

My own tender tribute to the very hilarious Jim Gaffigan. Inspired by his new CD/DVD Beyond the Pale, in stores now! If you haven't heard him yet, there is something missing in your life.

The Silkie and Larry Show!

Oh, what might have been! Friends, let us take a look into our magic "What If" crystal ball (What if is ™ and © Marvel Comics). What if Teen Titans had gotten a sixth season? Well one episode discussed was none other than the return of Robin's extra-dimensional doppleganger, Larry! But this time Larry is teamed up with his super buddy, Silkie! Talk about a two-fisted tale with an extra helping of maggoty goodness. So, hold your hats as we take a peek into the future that never was. Just remember, this is an imaginary story...

Oh Larry, how do we miss ye! Although some talk over an extra sugar filled lunch at Simon's Cafe inevitably turned ugly, we quickly became friends again at the thought of doing an episode where Silkie and Larry team up. Larry was never, at any time, going to don a giant Great Gazoo-like space helmet, or grow antennae out of his butt.

Very similarly, Larry would also not, at any time, be seen flying around in Jay Garrick's hat. Or that other thing that's happening.

Well my dears, I do so hope you have enjoyed this trip down memory lane, even if it was all just an imaginary one. Remember it all never happened, and you're not even reading this now! And I'm not late for work!

Random things.

Just some random Teen Titans models.

The Commies are coming! The Commies are coming!

This is a little post convention-convention sketch I did for Bob over at Titansgo.net. I love the silver age Teen Titans comics, so it was a big thrill for me to get to design Red Star, and have him be in the cartoon.

Tonight and Every Night...

Welcome to my first post!

I thought this would be a nice starter. This is one of the signs in the background in the Titans episode "Bunny Raven", featuring my favorite Teen Titans creation, the Amazing Mumbo!

Hak Kang did the amazing lettering in the sign (and in the rest of the episode), and it was painted by the incomparable Chu Hui Song.
